The need for a strong library is greater than ever. Attendance and use has jumped as demand for the services and resources offered by the library increases. The Friends’ mission is to expand the Topsham Public Library’s capacity to serve, but we can’t do it without your continued support.
When you give to the Friends of the Topsham Public Library in the form of memberships and donations, you enable the amazing staff to provide relevant and impactful programming for you and your fellow community members of all ages – free of charge. When you become a member of the Friends, you join a special group committed to supporting the library as a vital community resource and helping to keep its programming strong.

In addition to the knowledge that your gift makes a real difference to our wonderful public library, with a membership you will receive:
- A special invitation to our highly anticipated Member Appreciation Night for our annual book sale
- A copy of our quarterly newsletter, The Bookmark
- Automatic entry for our Library Lover’s Lottery during Joy of Art and the Friends Photo Lottery during Joy of the Lens
Business members will also:
- Be featured on our “Business Members” page (all levels with upper levels receiving a live link to their business site)
- Be listed on our highly visible Business Members poster in the Crooker Gallery (all levels with upper levels highlighted)
- Receive special mention on program and event marketing materials including brochures, booklets, and signs (all levels with upper level highlighted)
- Receive table sponsorship at our highly-anticipated annual book sale (upper level only)

Our membership year runs July 1st through June 30th and joining or renewing is easy!
Use our secure PayPal option for your convenience. You don’t need to leave the comfort of your home and you help us save resources in our effort environmentally conscientious. You can also fill out the membership form on our brochure and either mail it to us or drop it off at the circulation desk during your next visit to the library. Donations are accepted at any time throughout the year – just follow the same process.
